This class is a one-stop shop for technical and creative development.

It is appropriate for both casual and college-prep students.

From week to week, students are exposed to the range of techniques (pencil, ink, watercolor, etc.) and subject matter (still life, figure, portraiture, landscape, illustration etc.) and are guided in the development of their own styles and interests.

Each session is structured like a classic artist's workshop. Kids of different ages and skill levels work alongside one another in the same two-hour course.  The small class size and collaborative approach exposes students to different kinds of problem-solving and picture making, while creating a sense of artistic community necessary for building confidence and self-esteem.

Homework is optional but highly recommended for best results.
